Each day that Sarah Chardavoyne came to work as LifeStyle’s receptionist, she brought with her a positive attitude and sweet demeanor. With her beautiful smile and welcoming nature, she was the perfect “face” for our customers and partners who stopped by the LifeStyle office. So, our entire team was disappointed when Sarah was forced to leave the company a year ago due to declining health issues.

Unfortunately, after leaving LifeStyle, Sarah’s health has significantly worsened. She is now battling a severe case of late-stage Lyme disease that has left her extremely ill to the point of near death. She has daily seizures and ticks, is confined to a wheelchair, and is reliant on her husband, Michael, and her parents as caregivers.

This video (which is tough to watch—especially for anyone who knows Sarah) shows how dire her health has become: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=KD2qUz98dVw&feature=youtu.be

Since this video was created by Sarah’s family, she has been rushed to a specialized medical facility where she has been for a few weeks now. The treatment she is receiving is slowly helping her, allowing her friends and family to see glimpses of the Sarah we all so desperately want to save.

If your funds allow, the LifeStyle team and Sarah’s family would sincerely appreciate any donations you can offer. A YouCaring page where you can place your donation has been set up in her honor: http://www.youcaring.com/medical-fundraiser/caring-for-sarah/278079

Additionally, in true Space Coast community fashion, many local businesses have stepped up to help raise funds for Sarah’s treatment. Last week, Jersey Mike’s on Wickham Road in Melbourne donated proceeds of its sales to help Sarah.

  • This Saturday, on February 21st, a Zumba fundraiser will be held at Eau Gallie High School gym from 10 a.m. to noon. $10 at the door. There will also be raffles, t-shirts, and bracelets sold.
  • The following weekend, on February 27th and February 28th, a Rummage Sale will be held by the Chardavoyne family off Post Road—donations of items will be collected that week.

An event at Harley Davidson, and a 5K run are also being organized. We will provide you with information on these events as soon as they’re available.

In the meantime, we ask that you keep this beautiful girl in your prayers, and help spread the word on behalf of her family and friends. Thank you.
