As you may recall, last summer the LifeStyle team spent an afternoon working to build a “Garden Sensorium”—a multi-sensory playground of sorts—for the special needs children of the M.O.R.G.A.N. Project. While we were certainly proud of the sensory stations we built that day, there was much more to do to make this playground a truly special place for these kids in need.

At that time, LifeStyle Homes, along with many of our generous trade partners, made a promise to Kristen Malfara, founder of the M.O.R.G.A.N. Project, to continue our work at Morgan’s Place.

Over the past year, we have put plans in place to further Mrs. Malfara’s dream of a Garden Sensorium. And our biggest contribution is now coming to fruition.

Recently, we removed of a disheveled trailer on the property to make room for a brand-new pavilion. The goal of the pavilion is help protect medically fragile children from the elements, while giving them the opportunity to enjoy the outdoors. The M.O.R.G.A.N. Project is investing in some wonderful sensory apparatuses that will be installed inside the pavilion, making it a truly wonderful place to enrich the senses of these children.

We invite you to take a look at the pavilion coming to life here. Of course, the pavilion is still under construction, but we will be sure to provide you with further updates as more progress is made!
